Jealousy.I never understood
why you would want
what other people have
when you have so much…
I never understood
how deep it could run.
Never really got it,
not till someone else got your heart.
Sure I've wanted things,
some things I never got.
And sure, I've questioned
why someone else
can have what I cannot.
But nothing.
Nothing matches
nor even resembles
this fire burning here.
Silently eating away at me.
This slow-burning,
glowing fire of
Jealousy.
