Nycket's basic/cel shading tutorial — Description
This is just how I do it.
I originally made this for someone specific, hence the lazy handwriting. But I figured other people would be interested too.
This is JUST my technique... there could be better ways.

Keep in mind you can play with the colors and opacity of your shading layers too. I generally stick to blues or purples to shade cool colored hues (green, blue, purple) and use a more pinkish/red color to shade warm colors (red, orange, yellow, pink, purple)
