-= Norembridge - Chapter 07 - 08 =-====== [Colored Version] - www.norembridge.com/comic/2020… ===========
Welcome one and all to my anthropomorphic comic of potential psychological horrors and quirky antics.
-=Reflection Concerning this page=-
Mature topics. There's gonna be a lot of them as the story goes on. It's part of the nature of the location I suppose. This page carries with it an implication on a certain one at that. I implore you to always look out for those around you and show what kindness you can it may make the biggest difference of that day to someone hurting inside. That being said! I offer a few resources for people to look into in case this is a problem currently in front of you.
Here are resources to help those going through this pesky haze. (I have in the past)

For me, myself, personally.
Faith is an anchor. Misused it will sink you and others to the bottom. But properly used it will steady your ship from dangers. God bless you. Jesus loves you. Your storms aren't bigger than him. And he'll champion for you if you'll let him.
[[-=Upcoming Notices=-]] - Why the grayscale? This is mostly to give an incentive to view the main website. But I will say the black and white one's add their own charm to the theme. Perhaps some may prefer the black and white ones more.
For those who desire to read on in full color. You can visit my webcomic's main homepage right over here: www.norembridge.com/
-= Page Release schedule =-
((And this is a ballpark estimation) My posting schedule usually follows the rhythm of 2 weeks of posting 1 week of rest. Give or take depending on circumstances but ideally that is what I try shoot for when releasing pages.)

The Joker - Batman: The Killing Joke Monologue
Memory’s so treacherous. One moment you’re lost in a carnival of delights, with poignant childhood aromas, the flashing neon of puberty, all that sentimental candy-floss ...
The next, it leads you somewhere you don’t want to go...
...somewhere dark and cold, filled with the damp, ambiguous shapes of things you’d hoped were forgotten..
Memories can be vile, repulsive little brutes. Like children, I suppose. HAHA.
But can we live without them? Memories are what our reason is based upon. If we cannot face them, we deny reason itself!
Although why not? We aren’t contractually tied down to rationality!
There is no sanity clause!
So when you find yourself locked onto an unpleasant train of thought, heading for the places in your past where the screaming is unbearable, remember there’s always madness!
Madness is the emergency exit...
You can just step outside, and close the door on all those dreadful things that happened.
You can lock them away... FOREVER

(My impression of the story so far and Fright's developing insight into his foggy past)
(Also, nice to see one of his tormentors has a conscience)

Haha that was quite wonderful to read. A classic from the joker at that. It does fit very well into the state of mind Fright is currently in. His past is like a ghostly silhouette curiously beckoning him closer. At the same time there is an apprehension on what he'll find if he does. Before confronting his ghosts I believe Fright is better off building up the person he is now.

Most people see Amnesia (memory loss) as a tragic hindrance. However what they don't realize is that it's often a defensive reaction by our psyche's, to shield us from intense trauma. Fright's hidden self (much like his namesake) must be quite frightful.
