Welcome one and all to my anthropomorphic comic of potential psychological horrors and quirky antics.

A creaking hatchway suddenly gives way to reveal an unusually dressed rodent. On the other side of a nearby door steam bellows out shrouding the shower cubical in a misty haze. Fright retrieves an unsettling object from within the shallows of the pooling waters.
[Author notes [Spoiler Caution] Don't panic!. From an author's point of view, this upcoming scene had me particularly worried. As the subject matter is a bit grim. But all in all a more realistic depiction of mental health. I do feel it will grow a bit more insight into Fright as a character. But I also worry about those who are currently undergoing similar difficulties in life. ((For those who desire the next page to remain a mystery read no further then this sentence.)) As the next scene may contain some implied attempted self harm. I also don't like going too melancholy so don't expect it to be a blood bath so to speak. If you do suffer from such difficulties know that you are not alone. There's help even in the most unexpected of places. You matter and there is better for you in the future. Make sure your basic needs are being satisfied. Check if your hungry, thirsty, clean sometimes it's just as simple as taking care of your necessities. My ramblings aside. 2 complicated questions. Answer if you wish.
1) Are these rodentia residents of this institution our dear Fright now finds himself in? They seem to be awfully familiar with this devious routine of theirs.
2) Also, are they attempting to harm Fright, or steal something from him? Seem awfully interested in that pocket watch of his, yet their initial go to was to cripple or exsanguinate him.

Greetings Oy. The rodents are a largely unknown gaggle of squatters living in the Institute. Most of them go undetected in their daily doings. They tend to steal things from places most wouldn't give two thoughts about. Mostly from the residents really. They don't care to much about being spotted by them. As it would hard for the patient to convince staff about these tiny, menacing, and oddly shaped monsters skulking about dark corners.
They normally try to misdirect their targets enough to keep them on edge in order to steal from them all the more further down the line. Normally they aren't violent. But take exception to cats. They don't like Felines. Sadie also doesn't like the showers as she was attacked in a prior incident which will be reveal further down the line.
Lots of story there. Especially how they came to be X3 just need to to pour out more pages.

Ah. I keep forgetting the twitchy relationship between rats and cats. Hopefully Fright can avoid any unfortunate encounters.
