Saltspray is a serious Pokemon who's not easily amused. He's the complete opposite of his trainer and is usually the one keeping Brion in line if no one else is. Seeing as Saltspray is Brion's starter, it's no surprise that the two are insanely close despite their contrasting outlooks on many things and how they constantly don't get along with one another. Saltspray isn't always a complete grump though, it's just his behavior the majority of the time.
