Description
In a historic shift for the tokusatsu world, Toei Company has officially placed the Super Sentai franchise on hiatus after its 50th entry, No.1 Sentai Gozyuger (2025). Taking its place in the 2026 Sunday morning timeslot is a bold new initiative titled PROJECT R.E.D. The flagship series launching this new era is Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity.
The acronym stands for "Record of Extraordinary Dimensions." Unlike the traditional team-based formula of Super Sentai, this project is designed as a "multiversal" brand.
The Theme: True to the name, the franchise centers on "Red Heroes."
The Goal: To create a cohesive, interconnected universe where different heroes from various dimensions can cross over more naturally than in previous standalone series.
The Armor: Breaking the tradition of the iconic silver chrome, Gavan Infinity dons a metallic red combat suit.
The Tech: He transforms using the Gavarion Trigger and small devices called EmorGears, which harness "EMORGY" (Emotional Energy).
