The Understudy — Description

Mary Jane Watson, a very talented actress, has gotten the lead in this wonderful play. She puts in the work, she attends every rehearsal, and everyone loves her. Some of the other actresses wanted the part, and sometimes they can be a bit bitter, but they all agree it went to the right person. She was very, VERY good in her audition. They are all certain they'll have the starring roles sometime.
Not everyone shared this opinion, however. There was one girl who believes her audition was the best. SHE was THE BEST!!! no one else could even hold a candle to her, especially not Mary Jane Watson. and now SHE?! was appointed as Understudy?! To HER?! Not her!! No, this can't be. this isn't right. She has to be the STAR!(see how dramatic she is? So many words are in capitals, this isn't right)
And when that curtain rises on opening night, it won't be Mary Jane they see on center stage(even though she's not supposed to come out until the second scene)! It will be... HER!
...even if she has to do something to make that happen. They'll find Mary Jane eventually. She's sure...
