Description
Yay, my first tutorial!
was wondering how I made my BG in my Sailor Blaze picture, so I put this together for her.
This basically covers some of my favorite ways to create a non-boring BG in Paint.NET.
If there is anything that you don't understand that you want me to make clear, comment and I'll try to help you.
*A basic knowledge of the Paint.NET interface is recommended*
~Enjoy!~

i suggest saying that 'spiral' is a plugin and isn't packaged with the program. you have to download it.

On the Paint.NET that I used, the "spiral" effect (called "Twist") came with the program - it's found under the Effects -> Distort tab.
Are you talking about this, or a completely different effect entirely?
The pictures on the tutorial were made with effects that were installed with the program - no extra plugins were downloaded.

Oh, okay then xD
Huh, that's weird...I have no idea why you had to install a plugin for your version...
Do you use an older version of the program?

no, it's the latest. maybe mine is just screwy.

Wow...that's really weird. Maybe something happened when it was installed - other than that, I've got nothing.
Well I learned something new today - thank you!

^_^; maybe becaue i had to whipe all instances of it from my system then re-install, re-download plugins have something to do with it....my poor laptop has been through so much. *huggles it* and it's not even a year old!

Oh noes!
That makes sense - something probably happened between the time you uninstalled the program the first time and reinstalled it, but I can't say for sure, sorry...

it's okay...i'm cleaning everything up now but i have all my plugins and everything works fine. sure it freezes when i save but it's all buena. ^^

Paint.NET is somewhat similar to Photoshop, except you just can't do as much.... =3
