so this happened when i first wanted to get an otp askblog entry
my natural thought would be kingdings, but it was already occupied by my bro so i chose another ship that broke my heart

initially my sanster wouldn't be so happy and Gaster would constantly hint that their relationship is highly unstable and he doesn't even count it as a relationship (which would of course hurt Sans a lot... uh). he also spends a lot of time in Asgore's boundaries as they're pretty cool friends and such, and Sans would be incredibly jealousy towards them as a result...
and this is how the meme was born.

i changed my attitude now and they're just living through the outcome of the game, as Sans in my headcanons had to slay Gaster in order to stop him from ingeniously destroying the whole kingdom. now as the latter had been revived through magic of fanfiction, Sans is pretty uncomfortable and believes Gaster hates him because of his actions and will never come to love him again. time will show...
