UNUSUAL MORNING — Description

Heather is a very caring person. She'll do her best to help you even if you're tiny. She follows the law and won't accept hurting tiny beings — not just tiny humans, but other small creatures too.
Even though she tries her best, size sometimes makes things unavoidable. What might be a casual morning with stomach pain for her can be a life-or-death situation for the tiny folk down there.
Heather stirred awake at an unusual hour, her stomach twisting with pain. For the unfortunate man who had lived hidden in her house for so long, it was a nightmare come true.
He had memorized every detail of her daily routine, every step, every sound — but this morning was different. As he scavenged for crumbs, the thunder of her footsteps shook the ground like rolling earthquakes.
He narrowly avoided being flattened beneath her right foot, only to be caught a heartbeat later by her left. Her heel came down mercilessly, crushing him into nothing more than a speck smeared against her vast sole. So tiny, so invisible…
Poor little guy didn’t realize that this time, drawing the attention of a giant would have been his best chance. Heather would have helped him, provided food, and kept him safe. But he chose to live in the shadows like a bug, he ended like a bug, and would probably be eaten by a bug.
