On this early December morning in 2016, there were some very stark contrasts to photograph in a short amount of time.
These frozen cobwebs on the old lantern in the fog, which first caught my eye, seemed rather gloomy and ephemeral. A few minutes later, however, the morning sun came to life and bathed the fields and meadows in a truly wonderful light, as you can see in the pictures linked below.
