i went the metro politan museum yesterday and braught my camera with me. While i was walking through the museum i came across this person sitting outside and thought it would be a great picture, so i took it through the window...please comment

id feel so uncomfortable taking this photo.
like i was taking advantage of his misfortune or something.. but thats just me im completely wierd.
otherwise its a really nice photo.
and the title got me thinking. in the reflection it looks like he is behind bars and kept captive, but in the real image you see the environment around him and get the feeling of freedom..
i have quite a few friends who live on and off the street.. some enjoy it some dont. i dont think its a very happy lifestyle =c/

Beautiful capture. From the thumbnail, I thought this may have been taken at the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, DC. That would have been a powerful shot.

this guy has it made. that is if it was his choice not to have a home. this guy can go wherever and do whatever he wants. he has no job to control his life other than staying alive. what can you get later that will make up for this day of your life?

The picture is very thought provoking.. so kudos.. as for my thoughts on the subject, being homeless/poverty stricken in a world that seems more and more to be run by money, prohibits you from real freedom.
