Good traits:
Matt is a rather Modest man, he likes to keep things simple and does not yearn for royalties or elaborate extravagant presentations, unless it's food. He wouldn't spend too much on outfits or objects, anything comfortable and clean is good enough.
Since he was instructed from early days by his mother, a castle maid, he's grown into a Courteous man, thus, someday he could take on his mother shoes and serve one of the Galar houses as a butler or even open his own business. He's the kind of man who would hold a door open for you, say good day and good bye, the basics.
Even though he was taught to be polished, Matt is naturally Empathetic, he will lend his ears and shoulder should a friend need those, he's likely to stop to listen to someone's worries if they seem to need it even if its a complete stranger to him. The empathy also becomes useful when the opposite happens, and someone comes with a complaint towards his work, he'll listen and reply with a proper manner.
Neutral traits:
When interacting to others, Matt prioritizes to keep calm and peaceful, making him rather Placid during conversions, not easily upset or excited, however he does not recognize that this can be both a good or bad behavior. This certainly got him into troubles with ladies as he never knows whether they are happy or angry with him.
Perhaps due to his nature, he's also somewhat of an Escapist, a dreamer, which often complicates his life, as he faces serious situations with a hint of romance and fantasy, believing that things will turn for a brighter scenario even when they most likely wont.
His head over the clouds leads to terrible choices, mostly due to his Intuitive decision making, as he tends to listen to his heart more than his brains. The intuition comes handy when making up new beverages, not as much on daily affairs, once taking a train he intentionally missed the train to desired destination with the intuition he shouldn't ride the train, instead take the next, at the end the day he met some interesting fellows at the station perhaps he was right.
Bad traits:
Courteous or not, Matt is still filled with flaws he will deny to posses. He's very self-assured, once he's set on believing his point is correct he will not bend to other's words. This specifically happens when he's receiving criticism, if you do not bring one 3 page assay explaining your point, he will not listen to you. (And if you DO make sense, he will sound extra bitter taking the criticism)
When participating a group activities he often prefers to work on his own unless it's necessary to cooperate, when this happens he will try to boss around of the group, even if he's not the leader the bossy nature kicks. The group needs to pick a path and he Feels the left path is safer than the right path? He Will Drag Everyone There and There Is No Space To Question.
You may notice that he's feeling threatened or nervous when he starts to talk in a fast pacing, this makes nearly impossible to comprehend what he's talking, in fact, he may say things that are not even necessary during his fast talking anxious pikes.

History: Matt is a Galarian man, from the tundra farm side of Galar, where fantasy roams free across the land. He lived with his mother and father in one humble house by the border of the Motostroke castle walls, his father tended a small honey farm with few combees while his mother served the castle as a maid with her cinccinos. He grew working at early age since money was short for common folk, while his father sold honey, Matt perfected it turning into beverages to increase the sales. Since he was underage his father took the credit for the creation of the drinks, which was fine as the money lessened the weight over his mother's shoulders.
Until the sales went downhill, Galar was passing through a stormy era, with the industrial revolution you either adapted to the new machines or was left with little work. The kings were almost gone since the war ended and the symbols of royalty vanished with it from the land making the royal butler job out of question. As the situation around galar boiled within the royal class, those who served them suffered with the loss of work and inflation of products.
Matt's family was originally from the regions of Unova, due to the economical turmoil, his parents decided would be wise to return to Unova for the time being, however Matt believed he could do better following his own dreams traveling around the world to find another place to work. Thus, Matt left his home to look for a new place to hone his beverage making skills and find a change of scenario. He's a traveling merchant for the time being.
