Aliens: DownFall... — Description

"You're gonna grow up and do great things"-Lee's Father...
What is Aliens DownFall?

"It's a Prequel story that takes place before Aliens: Metamorphosis begins, Way before Lee Met Xeena, way before The U.S.S Seccura discovers Oliva Station. The main story of the book focuses mostly on Lee Moone, in his early life as a kid/teen before he joined the army to fight the Xenomorphs. It also includes his very first missions, his first bug hunt, new Xenomorph types like "The Banshee" "The Swimmers" And "The Flying Bugs" will be mentioned, The mission that crippled most of Lee's soldiers and the ending that will be continued in Book 2 a.k.a Aliens: Metamorphosis....."

Why are you suddenly announceing this?

"Because Lee's backstory and past missions are (sad to abmit it but it's true) more better and interesting then the story of Metamorphosis, It's better because they're very cool to read when one of the logs pops online and you find out what type of mission or event happened to him during his service in the military...But i shouldn't limit it on only his own personal record of a soldier....What if i told you that one of the many boxes aboard the Liverpool had a private I REPEAT A PRIVATE journal that Lee was given to as a child that he would write in as he grew up? Well to me it means there is a lot more to the story to be revealed..."

So what's up with the cover?

"Eh, it's more like Symbolism i'd say....Lee blames himself for Soldiers, Civilians and Families dying on several colonies and no matter where he goes or what he does he still feels like he's standing, sitting or laying on top of a mountain of corpses...Makes sense seeing as he's kinda the only one left from the Blood Ravens....Not Officially the Only Survivor though....(Some have left the division before everything went to shit and some who were left behind may have survived but that's all i can say for now..."

Will it focus only on Lee?

"Well, He is the main character of course so yeah it will... Some people important in his life will be mentioned and shown like his parents and people he's met and befriended but for the most part it will be from his point of view."

What's up with the quote?

"It's kinda ironic actually, Lee's parents were always drilling their young son to be the best and most successful one in the family and that followed him into adulthood, he wanted to be the best of the best but still wanted to do the right thing, he wanted to be a good soldier and follow orders but he valued the lives he was sworn to protect and serve that he would, depending on the situation try to come up with a plan that would save more people then the original one he was given to by his superiors."

When will we see it?

"I'll post artworks and write about the specific scene that I made a picture out of just so you can see what will be in the story, I'm kinda already doing that with Metamorphosis so I will do the same thing for DownFall too. Please keep in mind that things may change in the future and will be updated...Including the book title too which I believe may happen sometime soon."

(I'd like to apologize for being gone for awhile, like I said before "Projects and IRL Stuff" keep getting in the way and I kinda forgot about my DA and decided to post something that I've kept in stash for a while now...

The Project won't take forever though so I will post more stuff soon...For now here's this artwork I worked on a long time ago that I was planning on posting here.)
