Animation Exercise 8 — Description

We have three principles here. We have the follow through. The slow in and out. And we have the secondary action.

For the follow through, you make the same drawing, but you have to draw two overlapping drawings. One of them must feel like a continuation of the other while still feeling like the same.
Slow in and slow out was drawn as a line. Apparently, you have to draw poses between the initial and final poses. The poses must move in a sequence to create the illusion of speed.
Secondary action is my favorite. Motion does not just go to your character, it affects everything attached to it. If your character runs while wearing a hat, the hat will also be affected by the wind, so it will look different on the other poses.
