I've been wanting to create an image of a water goddess for a while where it looks like she is being created from the water that surrounds her. But my Photoshop conjuring skills not being up to the task I had to resort to more traditional photographic techniques.

So when I took Bobbie down to the rainforest late in the day and there was just this one pool of light left in an otherwise very dark forest I wondered whether a hair-throw might do the job. So Bobbie dunked her head in the water and threw her head back over and over again as the sun sank lower til I got just the right combination of light, shutter speed, frozen motion and expression on her face.
