Katara is not impressed...I am loving this show.. ( to all the people surprised that I have only started watching it now...we don't all have the luxury of sitting around and watching cartoons all day...capiche?)

Considering that you can basically do everything waterbending can do with airbending (minus bloodbending of course) he could have easily not have been waterbending until that scene where he does the princess mononoke impression. (the big water thingie that made the fire kingdom go bye-bye)

You cant make ice with airbending

Which is actually kind of odd... Since, if you made the air temperature, ice will form...
And you can chance the the temperature with motion.

Youd have to make the temperature extremely low to transform moving water into ice instantly. Not doable with wind
