The Envelope Seal — Description
I wanted to draw a seal today! So I decided to try my Tombow Dual Brush pens (markers) and see what they did on a back of a scrap envelope. I have been trying to 'warm up' and/or experiment a little before doing 'actual' pieces. But this turned out ok so now it is the actual piece...

Also ironically I had it in mind to use references but ended up doing this, then looking at references so I could self-critique and make a 'better' piece. But then I decided it was actually ok and called it done / "good enough"! Yes, after seeing actual images of seals I see a lot I would do more properly next time. And I also learned just how much variety there are in seals! So perhaps I will draw more seals in time.

I also am finding that while doing art of any type is really draining for me (like casting spells or whatever) my 'art muscles' are becoming gradually 'stronger' as I have doodled some thing every day this year. I hope that by this time next year I will have strength and endurance (patience?) enough to do 'really nice stuff'.
