June Ocean — Description
Please forgive the glare on the upper left cloud area...

After waiting a small eternity for it to dry (glare while wet), I have tried everything I can over several days to get a ‘good’ pic of this to post even though it had dried. Still not a good pic but good enough!

When I started it I literally just decided to throw some blue and red up there for a sky and try to tease out some water on the bottom. Was more for fun/study/experiment not a plan to paint anything specific. Ironically the blue streaks in the water were an accident and I almost lost my mind when it happened (I like even washes like I’ve tried with watercolors) but I decided to try to focus on ‘happy accident’ even though it looked ugly. As I painted I brushed out those blue streaks a little and when I stepped back I decided that I could put some little breakers / whitecaps on them. And it worked!
