Back off — Description
I know, normally lions kill cheetah cubs, but Mako isn’t a normal lion. So, Shut up! I wanted a cheetah cub Ever since big cat week last week with little Toto, I’ve so badly wanted a cheetah cub. Poor Toto He was such a sweetie as well. I was devastated! Over a cub on tv oO This kinda thing doesn’t usually happen. But it did this time and it reunted me with my love of cheetahs

I drew this pic of Mako ages ago when I was pissed off. I initially drew it to show Mako as the big strong lion that he is Yeah, don’t mess with him or he’ll destroy you!! Lol The idea I had in mind was this: [link] , to show his darker side. So Mako doesn’t have powers so to speak but he can be extremely strong ^^ Anyways, after big cat week I drew the cub and he just seemed to fit with Mako, and so this pic was born

So, the story goes: Mako has a big argument with Kosa and storms off… well they both storm off but for now we’re sticking with Mako. Feeling guilty and stupid for saying some of the things he did to his sister, he carries on out of the misfit pride lands and in to hyena territory without realizing it. He only comes to halt when he reaches the hyena’s hunting grounds and smells a fresh kill. Seeing hyenas fighting over a small gazelle he decides to take his anger out on them and chases them off. Approaching the gazelle he notices a second body, this one of a female cheetah. Just beyong her he spots a small tuft of black hair. Going over to her he finds the young cub, only a frightened, few weeks old cowering amongst the long grass. Memories return of his very first kill by the order of his father, which was a cheetah cub. Turning away he is about to leave but something makes him stop. Up ahead he notices the hyena’s have gained confidence and are coming closer. He then feels something bump in to his leg. Turning around again, he sees the cub. Looking up at the lion again, the young cheetah is filled with fear and backs away, but stops a shirt distance away. Whilst Mako was distracted, more hyenas come and now threaten both Mako and the cub. And this is where the picture comes in. He defends the cub from the hyenas. Once finished, he picks him up by the scruff and heads off back towards the pride, not knowing what would happen, but now knowing he had a new responsibility… Oh, and he decides to call the cub Tamanio.

I’d love to rp Tamanio and Mako and I know Tamanio is a cheetah so was a little apprehensive about even finishing this pic because I know little Tamanio might not be accepted but it wouldn’t leave my head so there you go. Anyway, this is basically Mako’s way of saying, “Can I keep him? =3”
