Alright, so, it's been almost a year since you submitted this but I'm catching up on work I've saved until I could give it the evaluation I think it deserves. Most of my comments will probably be useless to you now, give that it's been a year, but that's life, neh?
First off, it's wonderful. Power oozes from the characters, but more important is the different kindsΒ of power that they emanate. The girl in the back (who I will refer to as Len, and I can only hope I'm right) has a lot of power, a lot of potential, but she seems an inexperienced fighter compared to Rels.
It's partially the showiness of her style, the leaping attack and the larger-than-life spirit behind her, characteristic of the young (or people who like to show off), especially in a situation where it looks like the battle is just beginning. You might be able to dismiss it as a stylistic choice if it weren't for one small detail: the left hand. Her left hand is open, with splayed fingers, sending the force of her personality bursting at her opponent. Her shadow, however, seems to disagree, because while it is matched in every other aspect, its left hand is clutching and claw-like, as though ready to catch its own fist, or to grab its opponent before slamming into them. Subtle, very subtle, but beautifully telling.
Rels, meanwhile, is almost unreadable. Did they expect the attack? Are they surprised? Annoyed? Amused? It's nigh-impossible to read their face, and not just because of the clothe covering most of it. The maddened eyes don't betray emotions well, everything seems to be fierce concentration. The razor-like teeth are curved into a smile, but are they smiling, or is that just how they always appear? I will be forever interested in seeing the next few second of this fight, if for not other reason than to decipher Rels' emotional state here. This unreadability, along with the flaming arms replacing their own (I honestly can't tell if Rels is armless or just so powerful they don't need to lift them), combine to make them appear like a much more experienced fighter. It's truly well done.
What most impresses me though are the flaming arms. For a while, I didn't even notice that they wereΒ arms, and that's perhaps the best compliment I can think to give her. Fire is wild, it's powerful, and it doesn't take to being shaped very well, so the fact that I didn't see the arm in the flames until much later was just stunning to me. You captured the essence of fire, unlike most artists who capture only the appearance of fire (not that there's anything inherently wrong with that, mind you, just that your approach is more right, in my humble opinion 
Anyways, I've rambled long enough on this old piece now. Well done, truly, and thanks for all the awesome art you've shared with us, your loyal watchers. ^_^
