The analysis of motion requires a coordinate system to establish the position changes (linear or angular) experienced the subject of study. The coordinate system represents the global space in which the subject will move. The subject in itself, must also be equipped with some kind of marker characterizing or segments of the study. Such markers can be passive or active and become a new reference system: Local Reference System.
