this started out as a warm up doodle but got damn my girl is long over due for a new ref
the old one was getting all moldy and stale

just look at it. gross.
but hey almost an exact year apart, yay improvement!

Name: Artsy Fartsy (just goes by artsy)
Race: Unicorn

Sexuality: Straight

Talent: art, making people happy with art
Personality: Artsy is a very kindhearted pony who generally likes everyone and you have to do a lot to get her to dislike you. She’s very protective of her friends and being mean to her friends is one of the only things that will get her to hate someone. Shes very helpful and will often put others needs before her own even if her problem is worse. She’s laid back and generally goes with the flow, not letting many things bring her down and even when she is sad, often pushes down her feelings instead of seeking help in fear that she’ll be a burden. She’s also very goofy and her sense of humor can be a tad inappropriate but is sure to get the room laughing. She can also be very sarcastic, so much so that others find it hard to tell whether shes being sarcastic or not. All and all shes a very kind pony who doesn’t have any enemies and could sweet talk a timber wolf out of attacking.
Character flaws: Because of her urge to help and be liked by friends she can sometimes come off as overbearing or annoying, and has irrational fears that people will dislike her over this. Her sarcasm can sometimes come off as rude even though shes honestly just joking and doesn’t mean it, she often doesn’t know when to end a joke. She can selfish over small things (even though its the opposite when it comes to emotional issues). shes persuasive to the point that she can be a tad bit manipulative and sometimes even lie to get her way.
Backstory: She grew up in Ponyville and was making art pretty much as soon as she could use a paintbrush. it helped her express herself in ways she could never put into words and made her happy. After a while she realized it was going to be hard to make something of herself in the small town of Ponyville, she saved up her bits and moved away to Canterlot. She spent about a year as a Starving Artist™, but after a while she managed to make a name for herself by selling her paintings. Eventually she fell homesick and opened up a brand spankin new studio back home in Ponyville. She spends most of her time either in her studio or at Sugarcube Corner to hang with her friends and stuff her face with desserts. She takes a lot of pride in her art and only wishes that it can make other people happy.
