Test Instance Block: Export Structure — Description

Hello everybody!
For a while now, I have been maintaining a patch which unlocks the hidden debugging functions of Minecraft: Java Edition. One of the most interesting features hidden within the code is the "Export Structure" option in the Test Instance Block.
By default, this button is not displayed. However, when the patch is installed, the option will be visible whenever you open the menu for a Test Instance Block. It's fully functional too!
There are also a number of related sub-commands hidden within the code for the "/test" command. These are intended to be used alongside the "Export Structure" button:
• /test export
• /test exportclosest
• /test exportthese
• /test exportthat
While I am unsure as to what the export functionality is used for and why it is hidden from the public, you can get access to it using the patch on my GitHub. If you have any information that you'd like to share about this feature, feel free to leave a comment!
