APH - Surrounded — Description
All night he sat behind iron bars - there were 56, he had counted them several times - surrounded by darkness.

So much about the title ^^
It's a scene from a really awesome RP I'm in with ^^ She's also the one who drew the outlines, I just coloured them ^^
A bit of explanation maybe: in this RP, Ivan's a werewolf and Gilbert a magician. At some point, Ivan got captured by some gypsies and the only friendly person there is Sesel/Seychelles...

"I lied," Ivan said lowly. "I am scared. I'm scared of... forgetting things. Important things..." He raised his head and Sesel looked into the face of a man who wanted to cry, but couldn't. "... things I must not forget..."
The girl swallowed, then sat down behind the werewolf to lean her back against his and waited a moment until she spoke with low voice.
"When I mustn't forget something, I'll just tell it to me again and again, repeating it over and over until I'm sure I won't forget it ever again..."

There was low mumbling to be heard from inside the cage. "My name is Ivan... that's the name my friend gave to me... Gilbert... the man with eyes like blood and hair like snow... a magician who left his master's house with me and..."
