A Realistic Eye! — Description

We are doing portraits in college for our final major project. The theme is portrait, so in class we drew an eye, realistically with pencil, using a photograph. At first, I wasn’t very confident about drawing the eye in a realistic way because I know realism isn’t my strong suit, as I mainly draw cartoons, and I was worried I might mess it up. But then, I started drawing the eye, I got into it, and just relaxed and let everything flow, which is usually how I am when I draw, in my own world and I feel at peace. When I finished drawing the eye, it came out looking absolutely fantastic and beautiful! I was very pleased and proud of it, so I just had to show you guys!
