Cursed Lineage — Description

Posting notice/small hiatus: heyy guys I’ve been super busy the last few days and completely had to put aside digital art and unfortunately I’ll still be busy until next week because of important deadlines I need to prioritize for my classes. So, so sorry about the wait on commissions, I have two of them sketched out but haven’t had the time to work on them since then, but I promise I’ll get to work on them once I have everything else handled! (Will also be reposting this section in a status update so it’s more visible)
art-related description:
I’ve had this drawing in my files for a few months now and never really posted it since it seemed kinda edgier than what I normally posted (if that makes sense??) and that it wouldn’t fit with the rest of the art on my page. But I haven’t posted in a while and used this as an excuse to finally upload this thing. I also haven’t mentioned or drawn the characters from this story as much as I’ve wanted to and most of the story is still largely unfinished and being planned out.its based loosely in the warrior cats universe but a lot of the inner workings have been changed around. Still looking at different avenues to tell this story, probably through writing or animatics, but I’ve also considered a comic format once I get a bit more practice in. It’s probably going to be quite a bit of time before I can commit to this story long term but hopefully somewhere in the future I can share more of their stories <3
anyways here’s a little info dump since I haven’t talked about these guys in foreverr. These three specifically are Brokentuft (left) Squirrelpaw (center) (brothers) and squirrelleap (right)(their father)
general gist/what I have set in stone at this point in time; a supernatural curse follows the bloodline of two estranged brothers as each new generation tries to survive the strain. Each following generation also consists of two brothers. One is chosen, or “blessed” by the original brother sent to Starclan (symbolized by a in-tact star) and the other is chosen by the brother residing in the dark forest (symbolized by the shattered star) each generation of brothers are pitted against each other to keep the cycle going. If any of the brothers become aware of or try to alter the curse, there are catastrophic consequences, which is where the story starts with Pigeonstar and Crowbelly. But despite the consequences, it is possible for the curse to be ended which is where Squirrelpaw and Brokentuft come in later on ^^
anyways I’m tired so I’ll be back in a few days once I get everything sorted irl, thanks for reading my little rant <3
date finished: some time in December
