Motherhood is not all it's cracked up to be. You may entertain romantic notions at first of how your sweet and quiet child will nap through everything, only eat at specified mealtimes, and never cry or scream. That can't be further than the truth.

This scarlet ibis mother seemed pretty fed up with her baby, who kept bouncing up and down and screeching and poking her, waiting to be fed.
