Bathed In Gold — Description
I guess for me this holds more of an Autumn feel? So maybe it's not so appropriate to submit it now, when it's only spring / summer *chuckles* Ah well.

I had much fun doing this; it's a wallpaper of my Dragon Prince character Aung, walking in the woodlands near where he lives in exile.

This is one of the first pictures where I've made a lot of effort on the background; I rarely do them, and.. it shows I think this is my first attempt ever painting a background, so.. yeah. Still a ways to go. But I found it incredibly fun, and a really good learning process ^^ I was trying to give it a hazy, dreamlike blurry type effect, I don't know to what extent I managed that though

Hope to do more pieces like this in the future; I think it looks much more.. complete than many of my other pics, simply because I put a background in. The sad fact is that usually I cant think of a background to put in, so I leave it blank This time round I painted the background first, then added Aung; perhaps I should do that more
