The Snapper is the Leagues proper DMR rifle. The Snapper was a design meant for proper military service but failed to win the contest. The company took a huge loss, and the Mining League bought the rifle at a bargain. The Snapper is a fairly unremarkable but solid rifle. The Snapper is flatly better than the Slingshot, its more accurate, better quality, packs more punch, it even come with an ammo counter. However, it is more expensive. In addition, it is obviously longer and heavier. This has resulted in a strange circumstance of the Snapper heavily competing with the inferior Slingshot. The Snapper is better, but some miners prefer the Slingshot for its smaller size and lighter weight. An interesting tale to be sure
