If you use Chrome or Firefox, I recommend a plugin called Stylish. It lets you individually choose a new theme for every website you visit. I have a nice dark grey theme for browsing DeviantArt that matches the Photoshop environment I work in. The default bright green color of DA makes your pupils dilate a little bit which means it's hard to see the details in the shadows. A lot of my photos are low key and dim, they look much better with a dark background.
