Kida — Description
If I were to pick my favourite Disney movie... it would be impossible because I love them all. But if you were to threaten me with having me eat meat if I don't pick one, I'd probably say Atlantis. It's awesome. It's steampunk. It has all sorts of diverse characters. It values action and character development over romance. It beautifully incorporates anime-esque scenes into a very Western whole. It has awesome designs of pretty much everything, from characters to mecha and places. And it has Kida - the best Disney princess ever, even if she's technically not in the lineup.
So I drew her.
Another reason why I drew her (or pretty much anything today) was to test and practise with my new baby. I finally saved up enough money to get myself a Wacom Intuos tablet! It arrived today in the form of a humongous package of joy, rainbows and eternal love. I'm really happy about it because a decent tablet was my dream ever since the cheap one I used to have just randomly crashed after a year of completely normal using. So yes, here's the first half-decent drawing I managed to make with my new Wacom.
I'm aware that it's not very good because the lines are very uneven, but it's the first day. I'll learn.
