Llevena — Description

This is of my character, Llevena, from Waterdeep. The other commission that I had done has her stats on it, but this one will have more of her backstory instead.
Llevena was born of unknown circumstances in the year 1342 DR, and was brought to the City of Waterdeep when she was a baby. Although she was left on a Drow doorstep, she was turned over to the church. It was there she became invested in the goddess Eldath, who represented pacifism. However, while Llevena was raised as such, her teachings only took her so far. In order to redirect her more aggressive tendencies, Llevena joined the military at the very young age of 50. She stayed within their ranks for a hundred years, rising up to becoming the head of the city guard, combining her religious training to become a Paladin.
She soon was sent to deal with the Dungeon of the Mad Mage, but she was pulled back after some time of exploring it. She reported her findings, but they left her unsettled. She had fought several beholders, as well as other nasties underneath Waterdeep. She was no longer content to stand idly by, so she left the city guard officially, their blessings on her journey bestowed upon her.
It was during this time she had discovered the nasty secret of her origins: She was supposed to be the champion of Lolth, the Spider Queen of the Underdark. This left her with a sense of unease, so she gathered her resources and favors, and started assembling her current gear: The Godslayer Gear.
She has equipped herself with gear that has been specifically tailored to her fighting style to compensate for her lack of Drow Magic. She also had been gifted a pair of goggles by the Svirfneblin of Waterdeep that have special lenses that allow her to see with her proper darkvision underground. Her sword allows her to change the size (and thus, damage) of her weapon with every blow, provided she succeeds a DC 15 Wisdom save before her attack roll.
Her armor is special Scale Chain, which has been specially tailored to her body specifically. It allows her more mobility than normal scale mail or chain mail. The downside is that it still hinders her stealth, and anyone aiming for the joints of her armor hit her armor's weaker points.
