One Object — Description
This is the first of several assignments done in my "Fundamentals/Observational Drawing" class during the Fall 2006 quarter. This particular piece is the "one object" homework assignment, where I simply had to draw any single object in charcoal. I chose an optical computer mouse with a retracting cable that I had lying on my desk. The two dark circles are where the General Electric logo is on the actual object, but I didn't replicate them due to their intricacy. Plus, I was (and still am) new to using charcoal as a drawing medium, which is also why I did such a scratchy blending job. I think it's decent for my first experience, though. nn;;
