The blast severely injured her, blinding her in one eye, scarring her face and her beauty, and crippling her Maiden powers. Salem wanted Ruby wanted her alive so that Cinder could personally exact her revenge...
Ruby: Well Cinder had it coming for betraying us at the Vytal Festival Tournament, playing with our feelings, hiding that villain facade and planned on killing my girlfriend..! (She hugs Penny just to clarify their relationship)

Leonardo Lionheart: She placed a target on Pyrrha Nikos' head.

(Penny's eyes widen in anger, the whites of her eyes have become a glowing feral yellow and her pupils glows glowing green, green eye smoke pours out... Everyone looked in shock and fear as the soundtrack of this scene begins hits its peak. Drawing inspiration from the composer, Alan Silvestri from his work on the 2004 Van Helsing film, specifically the heavy, rhythmic motifs used for the Werewolves in that film.)
Penny: Did you tell her how to kill me again?! Pulling my strings so I can be torn apart! Trapping me into a much larger magnetic field in doing so?! Dropping me in acid bath or molten steel!? The correct angle of an golden stake as it enters my heart?! The exact measure of gold in each bullet?! Huh?!
Oscar Pine: Stop!

(Penny unleashed an angry Bear noise on Leonardo, ironic... A Leon was suppose to be brave against other predators... Only to tremble beneath a grizzly bear girl...)

(She lets go of the professor... Her eyes slowly changed back to normal)

Leonardo Lionheart: (catching his breath) I-I'm completely ignorant of your nature, Penny. I never knew a synthetic machine possessed a soul capable of becoming a Were-Creature.

Because of you broken free from Salem's control, she feared that the Maiden power transfer can be start again and making sure it won't be interrupted...

(Everyone and Oscar looked at Ozpin)
Ozpin: Pyrrha possessed a deep sense of duty, humility, and righteousness. She consistently put others before herself and believed her purpose was to protect the world, but under that surface, she wanted to be seen as an individual rather than known. before meeting Jaune, Ren, and Nora, Pyrrha never truly understood friendship, along side with Ruby and her team. Pyrrha became obsessed with gaining Jaune's attention because he's the first person to see her for her true self rather than her public image. This bond eventually allows her to reclaim her humanity through sheer willpower when she was Grimmified. And that also why Salem wanted to use her as her weapon...
Pyrrha: Its true... What Ozpin said is true... Every detail of it...
Ozpin: Inheriting Maiden powers especially through Atlas's experimental Aura-transfer machine carried severe psychological risks, including the potential merging of personalities with the previous Maiden (Amber). I trusted her with my life for her strong sense of self and mental composure to withstand the process.
Pyrrha: And it was my choice to do it. And it was my choice to battle Cinder alone to because my friends mattered so much to me...
Jaune: Pyrrha... (He comes and kisses her, Pyrrha embraces until Yang interrupted them)

Ruby Rose & Yang Xiao Long: Both are Werewolves. Their forms are tied to childhood infections (bites/scratches) that introduced lupine DNA, which they eventually learned to control.
Weiss Schnee: An Arctic Were-Fox. This is a hereditary trait passed down through the Schnee bloodline, representing her ancestral connection to the colder regions of Remnant.
Blake Belladonna: A Werecat. While already a Faunus, her "Were" state is a more feral, powerful manifestation accessed through her Semblance.
Team JNPR
Jaune Arc: A Were-Lion. This form is a result of his heritage, symbolizing the "kingly" or knightly lineage of the Arc family.
Pyrrha Nikos: A Were-Fox. Unlike Weiss, Pyrrha’s transformation is triggered specifically through her Semblance, manifesting her soul's nature in a physical, animalistic way.
Lie Ren: A Were-Bird. This form is also accessed through his Semblance, likely reflecting his agility and calm, observant nature.
Nora Valkyrie: A Were-Eel. Her transformation is tied to her Semblance, which is fittingly connected to her ability to channel and produce electricity.
Penny Polendina
Penny Polendina: A Were-Bear or Were-Bot. Because she is a synthetic being, her transformation is a unique hybrid. It is achieved through a combination of her Semblance and a nanobot injection, allowing her to shift into a massive, Wire-Bot beast that retains her mechanical nature while gaining the strength of a bear.
This diverse array of forms serves as the "primal soul" necessary to resist Salem's mental control and match her ancient, monstrous power in the Turboverse timeline.
Semblance
Semblance, which is reimagined as an untapped power of the human soul triggered by psychological or physical trauma. Unlike the original series, these powers act as a biological defense mechanism or immune system for the mind and body.
Note: This scene is sort a based upon one of the clips of 2004 Van Helsing film, where Carl (David Wenham) informs Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman) that he must kill Frankenstein's Monster, requested by Rome so he would be used for evil, even if Helsing finds a way to kill Dracula (Richard Roxburgh). That made Helsing very angry to the point that his righteous fury triggers his Werewolf curse while Anna Valerious (Kate Beckinsale) steps in to restrain him.
