Description

After the events Turboverse RWBY Volume 1 version of the episode "The Stray", it was time for Blake to explain her connections with the White Fang and of course her reason why she came to Beacon Academy in the first place...

How my RWBY AU explores What if scenarios

In the Turboverse, my RWBY AU utilizes a series of What If scenarios to significantly diverge from the original series timeline. These scenarios often focus on character survival and the introduction of supernatural power-ups depending on choices.

Volume 1: Early Divergence

  • What if Blake told her team her reasoning in coming to Beacon Academy

  • What if Weiss found out about the early days of the White Fang?

  • What if Ruby found out about the early days of the White Fang?

  • What if Yang found out about the early days of the White Fang?

  • What if Weiss found out about Adam Taurus' origins?

  • What if Weiss found about what happened with the events of the "Black" trailer?

  • What if Yang found out about Adam Taurus' origins?

  • What if Yang found about what happened with the events of the "Black" trailer?

  • What if Ruby found out about Adam Taurus' origins?

  • What if Ruby found about what happened with the events of the "Black" trailer?

  • What if Blake's parents was killed during her childhood? (Sienna Khan in arrange their murder secretly for their methods of protest didn't do much to change the public's minds, Blake was unaware Sienna's arrangement until Volume 7 but is hinted through the story)

  • What if Yang, Weiss, and Ruby learned why Blake abandon the White Fang?

  • What if Ruby shared her motivation in coming to Beacon? (Ruby joins Beacon Academy at 17 years old. Her motivation is driven by a desire to avenge her mother, who fell victim to Grimm when Ruby was only 6)

  • What if Weiss shared her motivation in coming to Beacon?

  • What if Yang shared her motivation in coming to Beacon?

  • What if Yang, Weiss, and Ruby learn about Blake's feral side?

  • What if Weiss, Yang, and Ruby learned about Blake's parents and their passing?

  • What if Adam Taurus was adopted by Blake's family? What if Blake and Adam had a sibling-type of relationship? (Well there's is no mentioning or info about Adam's family in official RWBY media)

  • What if Yang, Weiss, and Ruby learn about Adam's adoption?

Blake (White Fang costume AKA Pre-Beacon Blake)

Here's my version of Blake in her White Fang costume, I changed Negative Blake's color of her clothing to lean more into Blake's character when she was apart of the White Fang before departure. Yes, this happened in my RWBY AU than canon.

  • The Symbolic Ash: After Blake made the definitive choice to abandon the group following Sienna Khan taking total control, she literally burned this costume. This act symbolized a permanent severing of her ties to the organization's radicalized, bloody, terrisitic path.

  • Subconscious Terror: The uniform heavily mirrors the design and aesthetic of Adam Taurus. This serves as visual proof of Blake's deep, subconscious psychological horror of losing her individuality and accidentally transforming into a ruthless extremist just like him.

For what Blake saw during her days under the White Fang, after Sienna Khan took lead, the White Fang wasn't the same anymore... That peaceful activist organization, everything her father put into... Gone within moments of blood... Deery, Perry, and Yuma..? One of Blake's close friends since middle school, they're weren't the same either... Something changed them, something snapped within them, as if... Their true colors were showing... Cold. Blooded. Killers...

Deery, a deer Faunus first appeared in episode 4 of RWBY Volume 2, August 14th, 2014

Perry, an unknown type of Faunus also appeared in the same episode as Deery while Yuma appeared appeared in Volume 5 on

While unknown what Faunus species, Perry is, a headcanon on the RWBY fandom wiki suggest that he's a platypus Faunus, for his Faunus trait is hidden venomous barbs. He's an assassin.

Doctor Merlot: A platypus?

Perry: (Puts on his White Fang mask)

Doctor Merlot: Perry the Platypus?!

The Snap: From Activists to Terrorists

Blake’s decision to leave wasn't just about the White Fang's methods, it was about the psychological snap she witnessed in people she loved. After Sienna Khan took leadership, the organization’s soul was replaced by a demanding hunger for violence.

  • The Middle School Bond: Blake’s heartbreak centered on Deery. Having been close friends since middle school, seeing Deery transform into a cold-blooded killer made Blake realize that the White Fang she knew the one her father, Ghira, had built was dead.

  • The "Moment of Blood": Blake recalls the peaceful activism vanishing within moments. The slaughter she witnessed was the final proof that her presence was only validating a group of monsters.

The Threat of the Platypus

The presence of Perry added a terrifying layer to the White Fang’s lethality. In this continuity, Perry is a Platypus Faunus whose trait isn't just a bill or tail, but hidden venomous barbs.

  • The Stealth Killer: As an assassin, Perry represented the new White Fang: hidden, toxic, and lethal.

  • The Mask: When Perry put on his White Fang mask, Blake saw him lose his individuality and become a tool for Sienna’s and Adam’s tyranny.

NOTE: Adam doesn't kill Sienna within the Turboverse

The Fallout

Blake's defection in the Turbosteel Saga leaves her with deep-seated scars than her original counterpart

  • The Fear of Feralization: Her experience with the White Fang’s true colors parallels the my themes of Were-Creatures and Batpony Hallucinations. She fears that anyone even her former teammates could snap and become a predators

  • The Target: By leaving, Blake didn't just become a traitor to the cause; she became a personal target for those former friends like Deery, Perry, and Yuma, who now view her through a lens of cold, calculated hatred.

Bumbleby

In the Turboverse AU, the relationship between Blake Belladonna and Yang Xiao Long (commonly known as "Bumbleby") is reimagined to develop much earlier than in the original series.

The Turboverse Development

  • Early Connection: Their romantic relationship begins as early as Volume 1, starting from the moment Team RWBY is first formed.

  • Catalyst for Growth: Encounters with Adam Taurus and the White Fang organization cause Blake’s secrets to crack, leading to more vulnerability between the two.

  • Yang's Support: As Blake’s past is revealed, Yang's feelings grow stronger. She is depicted as understanding Blake's decision to hide her cat traits due to the ongoing controversies surrounding the Faunus species.

  • Shared Goals: This earlier bond is rooted in Blake's desire to bridge the gap between humanity and Faunus, with Yang acting as a primary source of emotional support in that mission.

This version of their story emphasizes a proactive emotional connection, where Yang’s love deepens as she learns the truth about Blake’s heritage and her fight for equality.
