Owing money to any Hutt was not an enviable position to be in. Owing money to Jabba the Hutt was, arguably, one of the worst positions that an outlaw could find herself in.

Rumor had it that Jabba had put a bounty on Kay's head, and a sizeable one at that. She was hoping the amount specified in the rumor had been greatly exaggerated; otherwise, every bounty hunter in the sector would be on her trail.

Either way, Kay was determined to pay off her debt to Jabba as quickly as possible; toward that end, she had taken on a few jobs that were a bit riskier than she would have preferred, for characters less savory than she usually dealt with. She couldn't afford to be too scrupulous right now.

That was why she had taken on this job for Crimson Dawn.

For Nix and Kay Vess' outfit, I used the wonderful creations of Dazzworks3d - although I applied Dazzworks3d's Kay Vess skin to a model of my own creation.)
