The homesteads of humanity are scattered far and wide across the Verrho Marches. While many band together in greater complex structures and are immersed in the webs of politics and the Great Game of Power, many more are independent worlds and nations of their own. While loosely connected to the rest of Pioneer Civilization, these lone homesteads pursue ambitions and destinies of their own. Billions of souls live in such secluded places without ever venturing out far beyond the boundaries of their habitats, but those who do so, often regard the world of the Verrho Marches with a special curiosity and wonder.
