Yes, the man-eating plant is indeed named Buttercup.

As to the art part... The plant... Um.. I like the thorns... And the eye... I also really like the shading (or shading-like attempt, at least) on the pot. My scanner killed it, but... Also, there're several smudges... I'm sorry... That's what I get for drawing with mechanical pencil.

This isn't really suppoed to be anything great or something like that... It's a cartoony thing... And damn funny, in my opinion at least, if you know the background. So...enjoy...
