Jack The Ripper - Page 4 — Description
Mary "Polly" Nicholls' murder was the first of the canonical five victims... each one bloodier than before in some cases... 1 week after the first case of ripper killings by Jack on the 8th September in the early hours of the morning... Jack claimed a second victim... Annie Chapman. It was shortly before 6:00am she was found in the back yard of 29 Hanbury Street. Her throat had been savagely cut and her body was horribly mutilated. One thing that was noticed however was that several internal organs had been removed... This led investigators to believe that whoever Jack The Ripper was... he had an anatomical knowledge.
