Charles Edward Shelton, 52, of Sugar Grove, at rest on December 11, 2011 after a long illness surrounded by his loving family. Born February 17, 1959.Beloved husband of Jeannie and loving father of Heather, Christine, Nathaniel, and Tyler.
A lifetime resident of West Chicago, attended West Chicago grade schools and High School. Chuck loved fishing, roller skating(Funway), camping, and restoring classic Mustangs. He worked at Liquid Containers(LLC) in West Chicago also Accurate Color in Aurora. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Wheaton, and then attended Orchard Valley Church in Aurora. He was a Godly man who had a great sense of humor and great love for people.
He leaves 3 brothers, William (Kim) Shelton of Hinckley, Ken (Jennifer) Shelton of Lafox, Ronald Harper (Lori) of Kansas City, MO. A sister Cindy Prill of AL. Also a proud father, Kenneth D. Shelton (RoseEllen) of West Chicago, and a loving mother, Carole Ann (Schoemann) Harper of Aurora, and a caring stepmother Marie Nelson Tuscaloosa of AL.
His extended family included many nieces, nephews, cousins. Aunt Violet Ballard (Bob) of West Chicago, Aunt Jeanette Schillinger of Sugar Grove, Uncle Matt Schoemann of Sugar Grove, Uncle Richard Schoemann (Beth) of Wheaton. Brother in laws Jeffery Adams of Aurora, Steve Adams of Rockfalls, and Dennis Adams of Virginia.
Proceeded in death, Grandparents, Wilbur and Irene Shelton, of West Chicago, and Earl and Florine Schoemann of Wheaton. A loved aunt, Mary Eileen Schoemann, a favorite Uncle and Aunt, Marvin and Barbara Shelton of Sikeston, MO.
