As a railfan, one railroad track is good, better than no track, sometimes I just have to settle for only one, but two railroad tracks is better, especially extended double tracks and more tracks mean more trains! I don't like to live too close to railroad tracks but I also hate living too far away from them and not having any access to them! And I hate not having railroad tracks, especially where I live though thankfully we have those where I live! We have a main line with two tracks and a single track branch line. We also have a streetcar line that's mostly double-track and I like that too although I'm not entirely in love with the idea of a railway going down a street which cars also use!

And if I had the money and power, there'd be more railroad tracks than there are now, including in places that once had them!

Most definitely. I love the trains, so many styles. Wish you had more trains in your lands. I am a traveler but still rare that I see two tracks, very cool when I do. I grew in country towns so a lot of rails for cars to pass. One day you shall have the money and power too do so, it shall be great things.
