Working up some pieces for an upcoming local gallery show, themed 'Abstract: Absolutely No Realism'. This piece is from an ongoing project, the Iodaform Rorscharch project. People involved volunteer for portions of their anatomy to be 'painted' with povidine iodine, then a paper impression made of that, and the impression then photographed. This particular photograph I then layered in Gimp, made several adjustments to each layer (one each), and then selectively masked portions of each layer.20130828 IMG 2902 25x35
