Description Soft sands squished between his pawpads, Elifur lets out a soft, heaving breath.

The soft moonlight, began to glow, reflecting on the soft patch of grass, to the soft grain of sand, to the crashing waves of the sea. Stars twinkling, letting off its own sparkles.

Closing his eyes, Elifur relaxed against the windy breeze, that began to brush against his dark pelt, that complements the dark sky, letting it's own glow, shine.

Feeling a small presence, and soft pawpads against the sand, Elifur pricked his ears up. He didn't need to move his head, to know who it was. Rather, he shifted his eyes, sideways. A soft grin planting on his muzzle.

"Nia?"

Nia couldn't sleep. That much was obvious. With a soft groan, she crept out of the den, and made haste towards the soft crashing waves of the sea. It was soothing. Her mama says so. And she's usually right. Mother's know best.

The moment she felt the soft touch of sand, against her own paws, her eyes had caught glimpse of a dark pelt, ahead, appears to be settled down, tail tucked between him.

"Nia?"

Her papa. Of course. That familiar warm sense of Aura, serenity of his gentle gaze, his warmth of his pelt, even at a distance.

His tone, with that tint of soft, gentle, comforting warmth. That same warmth that comforts her, in the night.

Slowly, she trudged up, towards her papa. Ears flattened, tails tucked between her legs, muzzle downwards.

It was then that Elifur turned around, keeping his gaze on her. How she was walking. Slowly. Almost.... submissively?

Shifting his body, he kept his sitting posting, as well as his eyes, locked on hers.

"Baby? What's wrong?" He knew something was wrong. Even by her appearance alone, he could feel this aura....like this energy felt.....off. not the same fervent energy, she contained, moments before.

Nia gulped, feeling her stomach churn, all her insides ebbing and flowing, all around her, making her muzzle all green.

She understood his question. That she cannot deny. It's just the matter of how to answer the question, which was really making her stomach feel icky.

Flopping onto her haunches, Nia kept her eyes flattened, glancing down, at her pass.

".... panic...." Was all she whispered.

The moment that word came out, Elifur's stomach dropped, immediately. He didn't need to ask. He understood.

Eli had witnessed many of her attacks, and none came easier, than the first. Sometimes they get severe, some mild, some.....not as bad.

But who was he to judge, on how she faces them? When he himself faced them, as well? That's how he came close, to his baby.

Not exactly the ideal circumstances. Not for a father and a daughter.

Letting out a sigh, he shifted into a laying position. His paws spread out, for her to join him.

"Come here." He murmered, beckoning his head, sideways, to help guide her to him. If not herself, than maybe his words and expressions could.

Nia pricked her ears, at his warm tone, as she watched as her papa slid down, to lie on the soft sand, moving his paws apart.

The way his soft gentle warm words, were whispered, accompanied by his head, beckoning her to come over.

Nia nodded, in a gentle manner, before slowly getting up, on her paws, slowly trudging up, before flopping herself, into Eli's paws.

Eli felt this and slowly moved his head, opening his mouth, his tongue, slowly lapping at the back, of his baby's ears.

Nia felt something warm. It wasn't just her papa's chest. It felt wet, as well. Slimy, one would say, as it slimed across her ears.

Perking up, Nia shifted her gaze, upwards,.only to see Eli, her papa....licking her? No wonder if felt as soft, as the sand, they're laying on.

Letting out a soft sigh, she leaned against his warm chest, her head pressed against his soft, warm fur, letting out shuddered breaths, now and then, trying to take on a whiff, of his warm, comforting scent.

Eli had stopped grooming, the moment je felt his baby's head, against his chest, to her soft breathing.

Low chuckles rumbled against his chest, Eli wrapped one paw around her small frame, pulling her in, much closer. If that were possible. She could easily get squished into his furry chest.

That thought, alone, was quite amusing.

Shifting more, he kept the pup near his paws, but also far enough, for him to keep his soft eyes, on hers.

It's frightening. He could admit. Of course, he's seen them before. Felt them before. Saying the most obvious, doesn't help any situation, at hand. He has to be subtle.

"What you're feeling." He murmered. "It's all part of fear. Our fears take control of our bodies...." He takes in a deep breath. How can he explain this? Nia couldn't even remember any of these attacks, so how can he? But he knew it's important, for when she'll have them next, she'll come prepared.

"Those fears....can be quite overwhelming. Our minds....they play a part, in our lives. Helps us communicate, bond, speak whatever we're feeling, inside, or outside..." He shifted uncomfortably.

"And sometimes when fear takes over....our....minds....they get confused."
Yes, that's what he should say. Confused.

Nia tilted her head..confused? How?

And how can fear control them? Oh, why does she have to be so young, too young, to understand?

"What....mean?" She whispered, tone fell flat, and unsure.

Eli sighed at her monotonous voice. Which she didn't mean, of course. She was beyond exhausted, and filled with much curiousity, of her overwhelming feelings, as any other pup would.

That doesn't mean to say, it wasn't normal.....just....

Eli sighed. "When they get confused.....we don't....." He closed his eyes, clear consise of frustration filled in his gaze and muzzle. This was not easy to explain.

"Our minds.....have this feeling....sometimes they can feel too much, which affects the way we feel, say and think." He averted his eyes away.

"We sometimes can't speak, what we want to say, feel how we want to feel..that's how fear takes over...." He gazed down, at his bundle of cuteness. "And that.....is how a panic attack starts."

Nia blinked. Huh. That's it? Was that was she felt so suffocating?

"It....felt like..... something was pinning on me." She murmured, saying with her paws. "Like something big was sitting on me. Like I couldn't breathe."

Eli nodded, dark blue eyes clouded with warmth and sadness. Sadness, because she's coming to understand. Something that no pup should ever be put through.

"That's....what anxiety is. Suffocating." He leaned down to rasp her ears gently. Both to comfort him, and his baby. "But they pass, baby." He murmered, into her ears. "They may feel like a lifetime, to stop. But they'll pass. I can promise you, that."

Nia leaned against her papa, feeling his tongue, grooming her ears. Listening to his warm words.

They pass.

They pass.

Which means, they'll never last long. They'll go away.

Warmth and security took over her body, feeling the soft gentle breeze, cradle against her fur, blowing and dancing through the breeze.

Closing her eyes, Nia let's out a soft smile. This time....a genuine one. One that feels to her.....that is most real..

They'll pass.

.....

This was....hard to write. Poor little Nia....only a few days after her anxiety attack, and the poor thing is still exhausted from it.....

Luckily her papa is there, to help explain it. Such a sweet papa and daughter moment. As always.

I swear, I'll draw a happier Nia, next time.

Also, just to add, i cannot draw wolf claws.....need to work on that.
