As this time the Skeggas event was being held really close to Arthur Acres, it was the most debatable topic of the month. Fellow AA Zlesdin owners were thrilled to show their ponies doing what they were made to do… dance. Dance fast. Dance pretty. Or dance with obstacles. Vadim definitely chose the last category as it seemed like the most fun one - in his opinion. He’s not much of a dressage rider so style was out for him, and the race just seemed too.. well… boring.

His chubby partner from hell was acting his usual self, before their time to go on ice. Desperately wanting to chew off a piece of armor that was estetically placed high on his front legs. Jack who was attending to the Zlesdins, that Arthur Acres brought to dance on the ice that day, witnessed the vicious -trying to destroy the tack- behaviour, and went to find the stallions owner. He approached him with:” He’s doing it again. I think you better go put the -nasty- on him, if you want your tack to stay in one piece”. And so he did. The pissy stallion was now sporting his fabulous the nasty muzzle .
The stallion was definitely not a nice cooperative horse, but at least he loved to run. Vadim is a really competitive person, reaching for the best time even in a training event. The pair started their run in a nice fast tempo. That horse really loved to run. Until there was a little misscommunication of the horse wanting to go left, and the rider clearly stating they need to go right. It yeilded in the result of a prancing horse doing some sort of skeggas piaffe, not really moving forward. Vadim was being bumped from one side of the saddle to the other in this weird attempt to go where the horse wants to go. Eventually Vadim loosened his reins and the pair went left, contrary to how the piste was set, and exactly how the horse wanted.

To say Vadim was devastated that the whole Zles community had to see this, is an understatement. The only little thing they might have won is “the best worst connection”. There really is a lot they still have to achieve to be compatible.

Did you hear? “Zlesdins, that AA brought to dance…” zlesdinS.. like more than one :’D So there will definitely be more entries for this lovely training event, just need to decide who else gets their spotlight on ice ^^
