Red Hot Riding Hood — Description

Just felt like doing something from the Tex Avery cartoons.
Here we have the character Red Hot Riding Hood from the cartoon of the same name. There were so many outfits she appeared in throughout her run in the Tex Avery cartoons. I ended up settling on the short red dress she's known to wear.
It took some time to draw the stage and to give it some of the wooden details. For the spotlight effect, I made a circle on the stage ground with a silver metallic Sharpie to give it the "halo" effect. For the spotlight's color, I just colored it in with a yellow highlighter. Since every time I color something with a highlighter or a neon-colored marker of any kind; it gives it some kind of distilled "glow" to it.
