Brightflower Reference Sheet — Description

The mother of Yellowfang, Brightflower!
First off, I'm finally posting something other than ninjago lol! While I still will probably do a LOT of ninjago stuff, I want to go back to doing a range of different drawings and fandoms, just so I don't get stuck in the same cycle of drawing the same thing over and over again that I did a year or so ago. So to start it off, I'll be going back to warriors references! I drew her a while ago, some point last year, but never posted her. But she's finally out, and hopefully the start of Warrior Wednesdays, where if things go to plan, I will post something warrior cats related (mostly reference sheets) every Wednesday, at least until September where I'll get busy again. I might also start up at least one other weekly thing, probably either Sonarian Saturday, where I do a CoS drawing, or Spinjtizu Sunday, where I do a ninjago headshot in order of where characters first appear in the series. I might do both, but we'll see!
I was kinda stalling since I don't have much to say on her. The only thing I will say is that I think a lot of people don't understand why she was so quick to believing Yellowfang killed her kits. She just lost her kits, and was clearly grief-stricken and not in her right mind, and Brokenstar was her leader, someone she should trust. So while accusing her daughter is harsh, it's not without a reason behind it. Apart from that though, I don't remember much of her character.
For her design, I love it when people make her a tortoise-shell, so I did the same! I also gave her that short snoot to relate her to Yellowfang, and also bc I'm pretty sure it's canon. Welcome back warrior cats drawings!
