Cecilio La Rata — Description
This is a pic of my rat Cecilio, when he was just a baby.

I owned a snake named Latasha, and we brought her dinner home one day, but she wasn't hungry so we put the helpless little rat in a bag and put it on the counter. We decoded to keep the little guy as our pet, and we named him Cecilio, in honor of the guy who sold us Latasha. We kept Cecilio for about 3 years, and he grew to be the BIGGEST RAT EVER. He was very friendly, so we brought him everywhere.

One day, we brought a tiny black and white rat home. Latasha was being picky again, so we put the black and white rat in the cage with Cecilio. turns out that rat was sick, and after a few days Cecilio got really sick. He was bleeding out of his nose and mouth and he was wheezing and coughing. We brought him to the vets and they cured him, but he was left with permanent brain damage.

He functioned pretty well after that, and we fed him noodles and different vegetables. He had a balance issue, so he walked lopsided and always fell over. One night we were holding him outside, feeding him his favorite: crab cakes. We put him back in his cage when it got cold out and watched a movie.

When i went to bed, i walked over to his cage to say goodnight, and he was slumped over his food bowl, dead. We had a very tearful burial for him, and we never did find out how or why he died.
So... i hope this story doesn't make you cry. It's a true story.
