I was doodling (as much as you can doodle fractals) when my muse/SO sent me link to some of Jarboe’s music (really evil, strange stuff), and I continued making fractals while listening to that. Then this demon thing happened. There were tentacles first, but this is even more unsettling. I considered uploading it during my challenge but it felt too… evil. Yet I couldn't quite let myself throw it away.
This is really unrelated to the artwork, or maybe it is, in some strange way. The vaguely religious imagery and words, puritanical, flagellant. Self-indulgent when it comes to sensory pleasure. Indulgence of feelings? That's a bit harder, but at least I am no longer in denial, I know what I'm feeling.
