RV Land Raider Basecoat 1 — Description
As I promised a couple people, here's a status of my Land Raider right now.

I've got the basecoat down right now (using P3's Beaten Purple) and I've got a darkened gunmetal (3 parts gunmetal, 1 part black) down on most of the metal. I'm saving the tracks for last, as they're a great place to hold the model while I'm doing everything else.

To get the uniform purple color, I had to do 2 slightly thinned coats of purple (to preserve detail), then I did 3-4 thin coats after that just to even the coloration.

Up next is the Payne's Gray wash to set off the shading, then I'll start picking out the details. I'm also starting the weaponry and accessories as well.
